Heyyyy friends 🙂

Oh, wow it’s been awhile since I’ve updated. It’s been a little crazy around here!

The last weeks of Colombia went by so fast and left with tears and sweet goodbyes. I didn’t know the sadness of leaving would hit me as much as it did but the Lord taught me how beautiful it actually is to have pieces of your heart all over the world and that the relationships are worth the tears.

I’m currently sitting on my last flight to our town in Vietnam!! We had a Gap Year record breaking travel days. We started Saturday at 8pm and it is currently Wednesday and estimated time of arrival to the place we’re staying is 12:00 pm. So yeah, it’s been crazy! I haven’t showered or slept well in 5 days. Feeling a little delirious and keep forgetting what day it is,and where we are but other than that I’m doing good! 🙂
We landed in Ho Chi Minh last night and I’m already absolutely loving it here! I think I’m going to really enjoy the Vietnamese culture and already feel a lot of anticipation over what the Lords going to do here.
We’re staying with just our teams here so we’re all spread out across Vietnam. It was hard to say goodbye to the squad before boarding our last flight but I also feel strongly that the Lord is putting us in this situation for a reason and I’m so excited to see the fruit that will come out of the season in our lives and in the ministry we’ll be working with.

As always prayers for my team and I are greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your continued support!
Until next time
Amanda 🙂

Also, guess what! The hotel we stayed at for debrief the last week in Colombia had orange, lemon, and avocado trees that we could go pick whenever we wanted and you best believe I was up in those trees. The oranges were sooo good!! 🍊
