Hey everyone! My name’s Amanda and I’m so glad you’re here!!
Why I Chose World Race?
There’s only one answer for this. God.
God has had me on quite a journey these past few years absolutely wrecking my life but in the best way possible! He’s shown me so much of Himself and what means to follow Him. I am truly where I am today because of Jesus!!
Ever since I’ve had a burning desire to share the love I’ve felt from Jesus with everyone around me and began praying that God would use me in whatever way He wanted.
The beginning of this year God opened a door and I was introduced to World Race.( Honestly, the wildest story of God using my yes and moving in ways I didn’t even realize.)
After my first interest call I realized the World Race Program was everything I had been praying for and I felt God leading me to sign up for the 9 month program.
I can’t begin to express how excited and thankful I am that I get to serve in this way!!
The end of August I will be headed to Georgia where I will spend the first month training. After that my team and I will be headed to Columbia,Vietnam, Philippines, and South Africa.
Fundraising
I want to thank each one who has already given I’m beyond grateful!!
God has been so present during this time of fundraising. Every time I begin to worry over the amount yet needed God has shown up in the most incredible ways, continuing to bring the phrase ” the Lord will provide” to my mind.
I can’t wait to see what God’s going to do with the next few months!
